WWII (In A Nutshell)

The events of World War 2 were far more horrendous than any other in the history of wars. Over 75 million people including about 20 million military personnel and 40 million civilians died with atrocities that were never meant to be seen by humans. Three major people leading the Axis Powers were, The Chancellor and Dictator of Germany, Adolf Hilter, Dictator and Prime Minister of Italy, Benito Mussolini, Emperor of Japan, The short heighted Emperor Hirohito. Then there was also a temporary alliance between Germany and Russia, in which Russia got its back-stabbed by Germany and worked with them only to capture the Sudetenland.

Some major events included The Siege of Dunkirk, Air Raid Over London, A-Bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and Hitler regaining Germany’s military strength.

In the Siege Of Dunkirk Top French army men were defeated by the Germans while after the air raid over London, the new Prime Minister of Britain, Winston Churchill counter-attacked by sending an air raid over Berlin, which in size was a small one. One of the first and major events was Hitler regaining Germany’s military strength. There are a lot of things that happened, but to tell you in a nutshell, Hitler used to be a soldier in the German army and fought alongside them in World War 1. After Germany lost and had to pay a huge amount of fines it didn’t have Hitler decided to rise and felt crazy patriotic and was madder than anyone about Germany’s loss. He followed Fascism and influenced people and was made Chancellor. After getting power, he raised his military and militarized the demilitarized areas. Another main event included the atomic bombing of the two major cities of Japan, Hiroshima and Nagasaki. This was when the first nuclear weapon in the world was created.

This truly was one of the worst wars in history and after this war, I hope the world learned its lesson won’t cause a war this big.
