Different things are made of different matters. Atoms and compounds are all made of very small parts of matter. There are 3 types of matter: Solid, Liquid, and Gas. Each of them has special qualities. Solid molecules are tightly packed together. Examples of solids are Bricks, plastic boxes, etc. Liquid molecules aren’t tightly packed but flow slightly far from each other whereas gas molecules flow away much farther than liquid molecules. Examples of liquids are cold drinks, water, etc, and examples of gas are steam, smoke, etc.
